Which showtime is best to see a comedian. The early show or late show?

Comedians often visit for two nights and have an 8pm show and 10:30pm show.

When is the best time to see the comedian at their best?

The first night, first show? Second show?

Second night, first show? Second night, last show?

The comedian is Jim Norton. My husband and I want the best experience. It’s at a small venue.

Second (late). because if the comedian is “on” that night, he’ll be even better at the late show.
