Can one catch a cold though a library book?

Not very likely.

I mean, yeah it’s possible. As a library book is handled a lot through many homes and hands. However, so are door handles, shopping carts, ect. you just have to make sure and be a good hand washer and germ buster. Thankfully I haven’t been sick with anything big in years, even a cold.

If a person sneezes on to something how long is it possible to spread..don’t know but its possible since door handles etc are notorious germ magnets.

I’m guessing it depends on how much time had passed since the book got held by someone with a cold? I’m under the impression these microbes don’t last very long exposed out there or even if trapped between pages. Not 100 percent sure though.

If the sick person had been reading the book within the last 24 hours, and the sick person was in the height of their contagious state.

Yes if the moon is in the 7th house and Jupiter aligns with Mars. Seriously, yes it’s possible, but it’s not probable. You would need to touch the exact spot within the exact time frame in order to receive the exact germs required to pass it on. If you want to be positive, you might want to wear gloves while reading and be sure to never touch your face, eyes, or mouth while doing so
