Are there any advantages to a classical education in an assessment of Trump?

Possibly.
I guess that the way I would apply such analysis would be to compare Trump and his coterie to Ancient Greek and ancient Roman drama – are we in an era of tragedy or one of comedy?
And look at the dramatis personae – is Trump a Caesar ? Or an Aristotle or a Socrates? or perhaps a Caligula?
One can make a case that certain elements of the Trump Empire have some parallels to the Roman and Greek empires, but it’s sort of a stretch.
Maybe we should all reread our Gibbons The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire?
