I know everyone of you are psyched to know where I ended up for my year abroad. Alabaster, Alabama is the place.
Now I’m wondering if anyone of you are from there or know anyone there or in Birmingham for that matter, can’t be much different!
How is it, how’s the climate winter/summer, the people, slang, any thing will help!
Thanks for all the support!

Well… it’s not Alabma’s greatest place to live. =/
The only thing I really know about Birmingham is The McWaine Center, The Summit, The Galleria, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Temple, Bailey Brothers, and that’s about it. Alabaster, I just know that they have a ginourmous thrift store which I like to hit up every now and again.
The weather, is hot and humid in Spring, Summer, and first half of Autumn. Last half of Autumn and Winter are cool and windy actually.
I do know that the area does have a lot of blacks, so ebonics is probably the only slang you’ll come across.
I know all about alabaster. i used to run around there when i was younger. hang on and ill pm you some stuff to do there or in birmingham.
