Can you help me find a wind up cat toy?

Asked by SQUEEKY2 (23425points) March 18th, 2020

I can’t remember what this toy was called, but I will try and describe it it was the size of a yo-yo covered in fur it had a bendable wire arm coming out of each side covered as well, you would wind this thing up and the arms would spin and carry it across the room.
Our first cat had two of these that she murdered over the years from playing with them so much.
Now we can’t find them anywhere, and the pet stores seem to have never heard of them.
Anyone know of this toy and what it was called?

I know what a toy is. What’s a wind up cat?

Hmmm, looking for a spinning pussy.
They have pole dancers for that!

I checked ebay, starting with lowest price and shipping, and going up. I looked at hundreds of toys without ever reaching $3.
The closest I found to your description was 1) a pull string vibrating fur ball which looks like a hamster. 2) battery operated remote control mouse.
You can tease pussy without leaving your chair.

There are numerous toys of many varieties of function, texture, tech. Maybe it is time for kitty to try new things.
