Did China really try to blame the American military for COVID19, or was that Trump putting that out there?

Trump seemed to be reading up on the Spanish flu. There is a thought that it started in a US military camp, but I don’t know if that was proven.
Seems like a perfect message for Trump’s group that China blames American military. I mean that would go right to the core of the nationalists hatred for everyone not white and Christian.
It’s too pat for me. I have a hard time believing China blamed America.
It does seem like China could have done more initially, but China also could have not told us at all. It seems like China is trying to share helpful information to countries that are dealing with the disease.

There are a lot of stupid rumors. Including straight from Trump. I say don’t repeat them, even to debunk them.
There is no way to know for sure. China has the capacity to completely control social media. Unless someone or an eye/ear witness, there is no reliable fact check.
I heard pet panic had Chinese citizens throwing pets out of high rise windows. I have seen no confirmation of either rumor.
Who, where, when said this exactly?
Amending my earlier comment – no doubt that rumor is out there. Guaranteed.
But nobody worth listening to is pushing it. It isn’t “China” pushing the rumor. It isn’t the story coming from the scientific community in China.
Chinese scientists and doctors went to work in January when a new disease appeared. The political authorities tried to suppress the truth for about three weeks, and then reality became apparent and they had to take extreme measures.
Which is what happened here in the US, too.
I can only read the head (because it shows a subscription pop-up).
It says “Conspiracy theorists blame US for Coronavirus, and China is happy to encourage them.”
Conspiracy theorists.
I think it’s Trump. He keeps repeating it. He also keeps calling it the Chinese virus. It’s horrible.

It’s an Italian proverb, don’t spit up in the air it will come back and hit you in the face.
Some of the the Trumpers have such arrogance. Like a virus could never start in America.
China eventually did tell him what was happening and he dragged his feet preparing. He is just trying to put culpability on anyone but himself. That’s my opinion anyway.
He calls it the China virus for two reasons, to cement the understanding of the real source, and because if he ever once says covid 19 out loud, the papers would all run the same headline, “Trump claims China responsible for covfefe.”
Bozo is hoping nobody sees all the dead bodies after he gutted the Pandemic group at CDC.
Fourth graders don’t understand culpability.
Once again he got a bit if random information and regurgitated it because he couldn’t really understand.
There is some speculation that the 1918 flu pandemic started at Ft. Riley, Kansas. A military base.

POTUS is very pleased that Democrats and Republicans are finally playing in the same sandbox. Nobody has gotten an eye poked out!
“There are none so blind as those that will not see.”
Only a weak-minded impeached immature douchebag would retaliate in such a way labeling the virus Chinese upon hearing news that the Chinese are blaming the US Military.
