That would make more sense than toilet paper.

Alcoholics are dependent on a stead supply of alcohol. I think that suddenly stopping alcohol is dangerous for addicts. I heard that from the Canada news.

I think that the world will find that alcohol – high proof – in large quantities, will effectively kill the coronavirus.

There will be a stampede of people buying scotch, whiskey, vodka, anything higher than 60 proof. People who drink will survive.

Groups that don’t drink – baptists, mormons, muslims – will suffer greatly.

I have a bottle of a hundred proof moonshine, will I be saved?

So @Brian1946 you’re saying I should just drink it and forget bathing in it?

Sales are up. We had to limit customers to only paying for alcohol in our liquor department because the people with food were holding up the lines. People with food need to go to the front of the store.

Last week people were walking on our streets with toilet paper. This week it’s been booze.

I, and my fellow delivery drivers, were termed essential services. We deliver beer and wine. I’m pretty sure alcoholism is alive and well and protected.

It will cause a panic just like toilet paper, people will hoard.

According to our local manager of the most popular convenience store in town, her shelves are overflowing with beer as no one is coming in to buy any beer

I don’t think so. Trucks are still delivering and many liquor stores have drive through service.

I am not really a drinker – I can count the number of times I drink in a year on one hand.

Last week I was at Costco and they have a huge liquor store. I took a look at the store and thought “maybe I’ll start drinking.” I say that in jest. I am tempted to buy a bottle of something, though. I have two bottles of wine that I brought home from work when it was decided that I could start working from home. The past two years, a work contact gave me the bottles and I never took them home to drink. They’re with me now. I prefer white wine over red and they’re wrapped up in gift wrap so I have no idea what they are.

I had to read that 3 times. Liquor store in Costco before I remembered not everywhere is like Kansas. We have specific stores for liquor. You can only buy 3.2 beer at Wal-Mart and at convienience stores.
I went to a Wal-Mart in Missori once and spent 30 minutes in the liquor aisle just staring, LOL!
Blew my mind to walk into.a convienience store and seeing it stocked with whisky and rum, too!
