Hard to tell. They have little sense of running in a straight line or running a steady run. They frequently stop, turn, hop, improvise their wings, etc.

Birds which fly normally do not run.

Rooadrunners can run about 20 MPH.

Emus have a top speed of 30 mph. I’ve never seen a goose run.

about 40 miles per hour
Canada geese fly at an average speed of about 40 miles per hour when migrating, but may increase their speed to 70 miles per hour if they catch a strong tailwind. Migrations can be as long as 2,000 to 3,000 miles, and the geese are capable of flying up to 1,500 miles in a single day if the weather is good.

The Q isn’t how fast can they fly, it’s how fast can they run

@SEKA
Yes I tried to cancel the post but it went through anyways. I guess I wasn’t fast enough.

Eyeballing the video provided by @ucme, I estimate their speed to be about 10 ft/sec, 6 mph, 10 kph.

My first order estimate comes from the following:
The driveway appears to be 20 ft wide and the geese pass it in 2 seconds. .
