No, there was no malicious intent. It is a virus; not anything they would even be culpable of indirectly causing a death.

They can try. I’m sure some will. It will be a waste of time.

Cashing in? That’s about the last thing we need now, people expending energy and working up outrage to try to get compensated monetarily by blaming a foreign government for something nobody intended. Better to spend those personal and public resources on protection, prevention, recovery, and research.

Great question. There you go.
China’s neighbors are certainly sick of dealing with their virus outbreaks. They would join in the action.
I am not sure who would render the legal judgement one way or the other in that case.
But if I had unlimited resources, that would be one of the things I might think about.
Again, great question.

I am going to assume that Xi Jinping would be laughing his Winnie the Pooh looking arse off, when he reads the demand by some local court in Bumfuck, Texas, to pay damages for the virus outbreak.

Good luck with that.

. . . from Wuhan Bio-weapons….. He has to prove it was a bio-weapon first.

only the stable genius (some others with no medical or biology background) thinks Bio-weapon was the cause.

@Tropical_Willie I thought the Covid19 was caused (or spread) by poor sanitation in the wet markets? Poor buisness practices in the fish and animal market, in China’s, Wu’han province.

“American lawyer Larry Klayman”

He’s a professional racist jackass. Here’s an example of his work:

U.S. News & World Report – October 2014

“Conservative legal activist Larry Klayman has submitted what he calls a “deportation petition” against President Barack Obama, asking authorities to begin the process of removing Obama from the country…”

“As demonstrated by the evidence established in exhibits and attached affidavits, there is prima facie evidence that Barack Hussein Obama is removable from the United States and in violation of the law under the legally recognized categories of falsely claiming U.S. citizenship,” Klayman wrote to the officials. “Even if a legitimate birth certificate exists, Barack Obama’s repeated use of a clearly forged birth certificate is still a crime.”

Larry Klayman? He’s a joke. Makes Saul Goodman look like a respectable lawyer.
