It remains to be seen if people will adopt a healthier diet exercise regimen but somehow I doubt it.
That’s where my curiosity is
Like the movie The Demolition Man. No touching. People will flock to industries that are categorised as essential as a career.
Like it did before it started, with random people coming down sick, but it won’t be out of control like it is now.
I think it will be the same as before, but with more people struggling than before and even more drive to distract ourselves by staying busy busy and shopping so that many can remain in denial or feeling too helpless to change anything.
People will stock up on supplies “before” a crisis. Like water , toilet paper, bleach, disinfecting wipes and food.
Us sane folks will identify those who behaved as if the end of times had came & make them walk around wearing sandwich boards reading…“I panicked, laugh at me!”
I just started playing Half Life: Alyx, so probably like that world.
…you think this is going to end, how cute.
I’m hoping that more employers will consider letting employees work from home. I’m enjoying it immensely.
I’m hoping there will be less eating of wildlife in China and other places, where the viruses mutate and transmit from animal to human.
I am hoping that in the future, politicians and public officials will pay more attention to viruses around the world, with the knowledge that they can come this way and really fuck things up for months, in addition to killing people.
I am hoping that homeschool will be made for university students including graduate level.
@SQUEEKY2 This is probably going to be with us for a while and could change how humanity operates for generations. We’ll know in a year or two if this thing goes seasonal.
I’m of the opinion that we will come out the other side with a “new normal”...just not sure what that new normal will entail!!!
I’m in the same camp as @Areyoukiddingme. Life as we have known it will be different for some time.
I think C19 will be with us for quite some time. Though at the same time, I do think the pandemic part of it will end.
Spanish flu/H1N1 is still around. Most people didn’t even know about it until recently.
