Are any other outbreaks happening in the world that aren't getting the attention that Covid19 is getting?

Seems likely that we could have more than one at a time?

There’s always the standard 15,000 people starving to death, every single day, if that’s what you mean. And don’t forget the ongoing AIDS epidemic which continues to kill thousands of people every year.

There seems to be a general outbreak of calm, if not amity, between Israel and the Palestinians, as both are trying to keep the virus from killing more people.

We had a earthquake tonight! 6.5. Central Idaho, USA. Waiting for more aftershocks…
No damage to house that I can find, but it sure shook like crazy!
Does that count??

@kritiper Yes it counts. I also want to know what new diseases that are breaking out from the wood works. Like Covid20.

There was a tornado in Alabama today and another at a mall in Arkansas yesterday. In both cases lives were saved due to C19. It seems that nobody was in the path of either tornado due to being out of work because of the pandemic.

I don’t think we’ll be seeing a covid20 because they won’t know where 19 ended and 20 began. The 19 is a reference that it began to take hold in 2019 and they didn’t change the name with the new year

@RedDeerGuy1 If I hear of any I’ll let you know. Until then, nothing to report.

I read a few days ago that Ebola has returned to the Congo. They are claiming that they now have it back under control, but I’m having serious doubts about that!!!
