Should Trump pardon the Tiger King?

Mixed feelings on this. The documentary sure made it look like he was baited into it, then again… it’s serious stuff to be behind something like that. I saw the reporter ask that and thought it was an attempt at humor to lighten the mood and not serious.

Another misleading question.

Trump never said he was considering it. He asked what the case was about, and asked several reporters if they were recommending it. No one did. He knew nothing about this individual, the case, the television series, He did not even know what Don Jr. allegedly said. He said he’d look into it.

The questions had nothing to do with the topic being dfiscussed on the Corona virus,

His words were “President Trump said at his Wednesday press briefing that he would “take a look” at pardoning Joe Exotic from Netflix’s “Tiger King.””

I saw the same video you did, and saw the press conference live.

He was totally unfamiliar with the man, the T.V. show, or the case. The reporter(s) themselves used the word ‘allegedly’ when quoting what Don Jr. ‘allegedly’ said.

I saw a video on the news today and the reporter told Trump that one of his sons mentioned about pardoning the Tiger King Joe Exotic, and Trump asked “let me guess. Was the son Don?” and the reporter said yes. Trump kind of smirked and said he’d look into it.
