Do you know that there are people that believe that pathogenic germs, bacteria and viruses do not exist?
I was shocked to learn today that there are Neanderthals out there that believe that pathogenic microbes don’t exist.
A friend on fb posted this YouTube video today. She’s a pathogenic microbe denier.
Unbelievable. I worked in clinical microbiology for many years. I’ve collected, processed and ID’d some nasty bacteria from wounds. I’m pretty sure that they’re real. HA!
Guess we shouldn’t be surprised as some folks still believe that the Earth is flat.

Some of the biggest non-believers are at mega-churches today.
That will thin the herd.

I can only explain the disbelief by saying there is a virus in people’s brains keeping them in disbelief of viruses’ existence.
That’s one really smart virus I believe.
I’m afraid non of those videos resonate with me.
I felt like I was in a Peanuts cartoon, and all the voices are saying wah wah wah wah wah.
My takeaway is let them believe what they will.
That video should be reported to YouTube and taken down. What a total disgrace!
This type of thinking is probably why parts of Africa have such high HIV rates. Plus, we still have trouble in black communities in America because of the Tuskegee experiment, and then you have this bullshit. It’s like a crime against humanity.
I’m assuming very few people actually believe there are no bacteria’s and germs, especially in America. As early as junior high we already are using microscopes.
There are people who believe that a “god” (a all-powerful, unseen, omnipotent being) exists, so what’s the difference?
The difference is that God is a myth. Germs are not.
^^Or humans just haven’t invented yet the right communication device that could reach God so he can respond?
No. It’s a false equivalency. There is ample scientific proof that germs exist.
@Caravanfan You missed my point. People believe in a “god” like people believe there are no germs. Both are false.
