Nothing like that good old car smell for you eh?
Wife gets a sneezing fit with most of those things.
So does Mrs Squeeky she likes them after they have mellowed a bit but fresh she doesn’t like them at all.
I don’t like the hanging air fresheners as they give me a headache. I do however spray the whole interior with Fabreeze Fabric Spray once in a while.
New card, but I don’t buy scents, so it’s sort of a meaningless choice.
If I want fresh air, I open a window. If the air is polluted outside, there’s an ionizer for vehicles that actually cleans and freshens the air. But the idea of using a petrochemical smog and calling it “air freshener” is an oxymoron to say the least.
Without going into too much detail, I haaaate Febreeze.
When I go to the fancy car wash and get “the works” I always choose new car smell.. anything else is too floral/sweet.
I never use them. My cars smell new for a few years according to friends who ride with me. I don’t know about that, but they don’t really smell like much of anything. I don’t eat in my car, maybe that is part of the reason why.
I tend not to use them because I feel like it’s one more chemical in the environment, that we’re breathing. Now and then, if I see a sale on Yankee Candle ones, I’ll get their sage scent. I think it’s called Citrus and Sage or something like that.
Back when I could care, it was the scent of soap on a fresh scrubbed girl. Hell, even without the soap, the aroma was delicious. Nowadays it’s the aroma of my wife. Its wonderful when there’s the combination of her & her cooking. It’s in her hair and on her clothes & I have an urge to take a knife & fork to her.
Used to be new car scent, now strawberry. I also Febreze sometimes.
I’ve stopped buying the store bought kind; however when I did, I usually bought Leather or sometimes Lenin. Now I make my own blend of Essential Oils & use a diffuser in my car. That way, as my moods change, I can change the aroma when needed
I order our chauffeur to wear Infinity by Paco Rabanne
@Tropical_Willie While I thank you for your response, I must make a sober appeal for calm during these trying times.
