Vampires and Covid-19. Are they susceptible?

Asked by elbanditoroso (33577points) April 26th, 2020

Covid is a virus transmitted through the air. But once infected, it can have bad effects, cause strokes, and so on.

Would vampires be more or less likely to suffer from Covid?

Covid is not airborne. When someone sneezes, the water droplets in the air momentarily can be infectious, but the air is clear.
Vampires are not big face touchers, so they won’t get it that way.
They also have a sense that alerts them to unhealthy blood.
So, they might actually be useful in detecting infected people.

To be on the safe side, avoid both, as they probably do as well.

Hypothetically speaking, they are very hard to kill, so I wouldn’t think a virus would phase them in any way.

Now the detection of the virus would make a great book or movie. Instead of being perceived as monsters, they can be the heroes, like Blade.

Only if the virus is on the tip of a wooden stake.

Only a silly count would think that possible.

The undead are impervious to human diseases.
