I actually have!
Sometimes Laurel & Hardy appear in my dreams & so, naturally, no colour.
note the correct spelling of colour

@ucme It’s a labour for me to spell it that way.

Not that I remember… maybe a few times.

It’s always baffled me that some people assert that “people who dream in color are crazy”. Was that a teasing/gaslighting joke by someone that got repeated as a truism some people didn’t question, or what?

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@Zaku- Maybe. I can’t recall ever dreaming in b&w.

@lucillelucillelucille Very good, now try centre, that’s c.e.n.t.r.e :D

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@ucme- I will resist that with every fibre of my being.
While I’m at it, what do you sound like when you say the word aluminum? Cwazy?? ;)

ucme's avatar

@lucillelucillelucille Haha, I will give you that.
We all sound like the Queen when pronouncing it, very, very posh don’t you know lol

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@ucme -It is. How would Micheal Caine say it?

ucme's avatar

@lucillelucillelucille “You’re only s’posed to blow the bloody doors off!”
If you are unaware of that movie, our friendship is over :D

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@ucme-I confess to having looked that quote up.I didn’t see that movie but one of my favorite movies is The Man Who Would Be King. That’s gotta count for something.

@lucillelucillelucille It’s you so of course it does :-)
I love Sleuth too, that’s a great movie although Olivier acts him off the screen in it.

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@ucme -Awwww
I think I did see Sleuth a long time ago.
When I think of Olivier, I think, “Is it safe?”—I asked my dentist that one time and she knew right away what I was talking about. I don’t know if that is bad or good.

@lucillelucillelucille Another great film, interestingly, none of these are in b&w lol
We strayed way off topic :D

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@ucme -I’m alright with that. XD
I liked him as Austin Powers’ dad too.

Interesting question.

I read somewhere that most people dream in color. So when you have a dream in black and white, it’s supposed to have more significance.

I’ve also read that older generations that grew up without color television, tend to dream in black and white. But that correlation doesn’t sound like causation to me. Like what about the generations before television existed at all?

Since vision is both physical and neurological, I wonder if the processing of color changes with age?

@raum -Now that is an interesting question.
