Metaphorical question: If I were the rain, would I be able to connect with someone's heart, the way the rain connects the never intersecting sky and earth?
Not going to say the source, just answer it the best you can. Question ALSO for weepers.

No, you’re all wet.
What makes you think that rain is sentient and active? It’s not. It’s billions upon billions of independent, aimless, unmotivated droplets of water.
No connecting with anything than other droplets.
You need to drink less wine.
It might be more useful to find some connection to pragmatic practical reality.
According to Chicken Little, the sky and earth will eventually connect. so maybe set your sights on something impossible. :)
The question is poorly worded, because a metaphor is not an analogy (” the way the rain connects the never intersecting sky and earth“0. And you are not the rain, nor would you be the rain connecting someone’s heart. (connecting to what?).
You need to work on learning more about poetry.
Can you hear me
That when it rains and shines
It’s just a state of mind
-Lennon/McCartney
You would with mine as I love rain and poetry, two of my favorite things.
Having trouble making sense of this. How about someone asking the rain to connect him to the one he loves, who seems so distant, in the same way that the rain connects Heaven and Earth?
The individual droplets are still connected. In the air, polarity connects them. On ground they collaborate to form streams, puddles and more.
Electrically charged, they might interact with organs, but it would have to be a powerful fluke.
I read that book…Charles Manson Diaries: The Weather Report.
