Are you allowed to go back to your office to do some work or to gather belongings you left behind?

A recent Q about items left behind or forgotten at people’s workplace during the stay at home orders has me wondering if office buildings are still being checked and maintained by landlords and business owners.

I mentioned on the Q that my husband went to work Tuesday and Wednesday to finish up work and print a large document. His company had told everyone to work from home on that Monday, but I don’t think the city or state had done a formal stay at home order.

Can you go to your office building if you need to? Can you pick up any personal belongings you left behind or use company computers, copiers, printers if you need to? Is there still a housekeeping crew coming through periodically? Is the air conditioner still running?
