I’m likely buying a scooter online before the weekend. I’m weighing options. The only things I know for sure is I don’t want a three wheeler, and nothing used.
I saw a rad three wheeler which looks like a tricycle, large front wheel attached to the steering. It looked like it would flip backwards my first breath, but maybe cool for someone light and short. Like, a real tricycle.
I have just never spent hundreds of dollars online for a single item, and it freaks me out, a purchase so big from a picture.

I was fast bidding on eBay one day. I bid $8.45 on an item. It was my final bid with only seconds on the clock. Then I see the decimal point didn’t take! Someone could have bid $800 and left my high bid for last! Fortunately, it didn’t go over six dollars, so I was saved.
Whew!

Today just received notice that my longed for this particular sized Cross Stitch Laptop Frame to work on which was the ideal clip on to have will not be shipped and that I will get a refund on my Credit Card in a day or so?

I sent them a reply that even though I will get a refund this failure will affect my credit card once again as another company had did this in the recent past as well.

It ties up my time, my money and leaves me to forget purchasing online .

It delays my completion of my Cross Stitch project, setting the completion timeline back as well.
I hope that there delivery problem with the couriers are solved for them but in the meantime they have lost a valued customer .

Mean while Amazon will receive this message that I sent the company in reply and wonder whether they should continue with that company again ?

My friends and I use the term “You got Amazon’d” often. It’s when you order something that looks big and beautiful in pictures on the site and it comes in very small.

Recently I ordered a few Mothers Day gifts from Amazon and each of the mom’s got gift baskets. Since I spent good money for four items, I (wrongly) assumed the gift baskets were much bigger than they appeared. The mom’s were happy but I felt I got ‘Amazon’d’ again.

Prior to that I ordered from Cali Bro Baskets, a bourbon gift basket for my cousin in NY and her nurse friends to enjoy. That was better quality but still smaller than the site picture presented.

Lesson learned. Regardless of price, check bottle sizes of all items so you don’t pay $200 for an ounce of body lotion.
