Well, astronauts have been in space many times. US, Russia, etc., It’s the SpaceX part that is new.
And since that’s all they seem to be talking about right now, I’m turning it off. I’ll watch an edited replay of some of the highlights of the actual launch and docking later, maybe.
As someone who does not like Elon Musk and his cringy antics, I secretly hope it fails.
@ragingloli Could agree except I don’t want any more astronaut deaths.
^ This. I hope nothing happens (no lift-off) after countdown and everyone goes home defeated.
Launch cancelled due to bad weather.
^^ Erectile dysfunction, I guess.
Back to LIVE coverage for a minute… Still waiting around, I see.
I haven’t watched anything LIVE in a long time… wow it gives me such a strong feeling that I’m not doing anything productive.
Does anyone know what their pee accommodations are like? Built into the suits?
I will also say that the capsule and the space suits look like Musk stole them from the set of The Orville.
This article didn’t say anything about built-in pee accomodation but it did say the suit was designed by a Hollywood costume designer. : )
SpaceX spacesuit
Was looking forward to it.
Always had slight misgivings about a civilization that sends people to the moon and then loses interest. Good to see it unfolding, the delay notwithstanding.
@ragingloli Alex Gurst’s didn’t look half as good as SpaceX, come on.
If Musk really wanted the suit to be different, this Jean Paul Gaultier police costume from the Fifth Element is a better choice. : )
No, they scrapped it & are going to try again on Saturday.
Just watched it. Was pretty amazing.
^^Dang it. Missed it! lol
