Some are, some aren’t. Just like any other group of people.
Aren’t “celebrityism” and isolation direct opposites. And the breathtaking zoo of empty headed celebrities shoots that proposition to the shelf of absurd fantasy.
Agree with @JeSuisRickSpringfield – some celebrities are brilliant. Some are blithering idiots. Just like real people.
@RedDeerGuy1 Bah haha, yass!!
Which side do we put Justin Bieber now?!
There are those who actually have tried arguing Trump’s intellect superior to Obama’s, but there are plenty of celebrities whose fame is based on the fact that they are spectacularly dimwitted.
@KNOWITALL Not sure. They have an anti-virus like Bieber blocker. That one can install on your computer.
Generally speaking, no, I don’t think so. Many are probably like news reporters.
Some celebrities are very intelligent people. Of course, being intelligent doesn’t necessarily make them a deep thinker. Still, I think it makes them think more intelligently than the average Joe. Natalie Portman, Mayim Bialik, Jodie Foster, & Brian May are a few who come to mind. Mayim has a PhD in Neuroscience but I don’t remember where she attended. Natalie has a bachelor’s in psychology from Harvard. Jodie graduated from Yale but I don’t remember what she studied. Brian has a PhD from The Imperial College of London as an Astrophysicist. I know there are more but these are the oes that I can remember off the top of my head.
I believe that Snookie took veterinarian technology. She finished high school.
@RedDeerGuy1 I’m going to ignore that remark. IF I say what I’m thinking, I’ll be banned from the internet!!!
LOL! Usually not. However some people become celebrities because they are smart. But when it comes to Hollywood, popular music, modeling etc…a lot of that is luck, talent, and good looks. But genius? Not necessarily.
