What does wasp and hornet honey taste like?

That’s what the bugs themselves taste like. No honey drips from wasps or hornets’ nests, or ant hills. Wasps are solitary.
I did a Web search and found this article on Quora. It says that some wasps make honey and that the honey of bald-faced hornets smells like, and I assume tastes like, maple syrup.
Slightly sweetened horse pee.
I didn’t know those horrible things made honey.
