For those who gamble or have done so at some point...what was the last event you won on?

No sports to bet on lately what with the bug, so my last win was Tyson Fury beating the crap out of Deontay Wilder.

Blackjack and particular slot machines. Last time we went before COVID I walked out tens of dollars to the good. (We don’t bet a lot of money)

Most of my sports bets were free, but I did pretty well one season with puppies. That was very long ago, and I had one bitch that was my favorite.
I do good with ponies only when I pick for somebody else. That wears out quick, especially when all you get for your great picks is their leftover free drink tokens.
I lived in Reno, with Peppermill just downhill from me. They had tons of freebies for locals.
I rarely spent any of my own money for gambling, or food, or stuff in the gift shop. I didn’t bet big. I could use the free ten dollars they gave me for slots and made it last for six hours, winning and betting back down. In return I would get twenty dollars to spend on food. Two great footlong subs and a giant cookie to take home and split with my daughter.
They comped me a free room every year for my birthday.
My daughter loved the arcade. When her dad and I could both be there together, we would tag out on being with her.
My best winnings weren’t big cash, they were free evenings of entertainment and buffet.
