What would you do if you had a REALLY bad day at work and came home to another bad day?

Asked by loser (15032points) September 3rd, 2008 from iPhone

I just feel like screaming but I’m like, stuck. I can’t seem to do anything.

go to your room, take a deep, soft pillow, put it to your face and scream as loud as you can. do this repeatedly until you fall asleep and wake up tommorrow and start a new day, but this time, better.

I’ve had that day! I cry. Love your topics, btw!

I lace up my go fasters and run on those days. I hate running and it makes my bad day seem not so bad.

Write it off as a bad day and remember that tomorrow could possibly be the best of your life. And be thankful that there is a tomorrow and today could have been a hell of a lot worse!

I just get wasted when that happens to me.

Assassination is always an option.

I try to reflect on the bad day, think about things and go to sleep.. Knowing that tomorrow will be a better day.

Go to bed and wait for another day

What do you mean if? When it happens, it sucks! If at all possible, the best thing for me is to grab one of my iPods, my camera, get in the car and find a nice spot in the middle of nowhere to spend a couple of hours – preferably by the sea.

It depends a lot on what made it such a bad day on both counts. In some situations I might want to just get out of the house and go to a movie or coffee shop. In others, I’d just put on some loud music for a while or take a hot bath or sleep or call a friend that would “get it”.

JackAdams, assassination is your answer to everything.

Not always, but the late Abbot Howard ‘Abbie’ Hoffman is often credited with saying:

“There is no problem so big, nor so complex, that it cannot be solved with a suitable application of high explosives.”

I have that written on the inside of my family Bible.

The one with the Sodom and Gomorrah illustrations.

Respectfully, one should NEVER DRIVE when drunk, or “pissed.”

I’ve had those kinds of days. Let it pass——time is your best friend and you’ll feel better as the days go forward. What doesn’t kill you, only makes you stronger.
