Why won't my pages open when I click on the icons?

Firefox updates, sigh. Now, when I click on the Facebook icon, or the Fluther icon, or any icon, nothing happens. I don’t have a right click option any more, either. I have to go to google and manually type the name of the site in.
Why oh why must it be this way?

This is just a guess but maybe you have to set up short cuts again. Maybe Google the update number and see if other Firefox users are having that problem.
