What is the best store bought fruit jam that I can buy?
For peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
Healthiest and best tasting.
Either in my home town of Red Deer or online like Amazon.
Not from a farmer’s market.
I have Jiff peanut butter and will buy normal white wonder bread.
Trying to assemble the best pb&j sandwiches.

Try switching to whole wheat bread. It tastes so much better. You may have noticed that there is more whole grain bread than white bread in the grocery. That is because most people prefer it for taste and health reasons. To me eating white Wonder Bread is like eating balls of cotton.
I like Bonne Maman jams from France.
I like the Polaner all fruit spreads. They don’t have added sugar.
@janbb Thanks I will search tomorrow for Polaner all fruit spreads in Red Deer. In Amazon is $100+.
@LostInParadise They have whole wheat Wonder bread. I will look around Sobeys after my appointment tomorrow for good bread.
@Hawaii_Jake Ok. Thanks I will consider ordering in Amazon. Check if my local Wal-Mart has it.
@RedDeerGuy1 $100 seems crazy. I just went to look for it there and it doesn’t even come up. Maybe it does in Canada.
We usually have Rye bread in the house sometime whole grain.
@RedDeerGuy1 “In Amazon is $100+.”
Wha’huh? Is that for a case or something? There’s no way that stuff costs more than a few bucks for a single jar.
@RedDeerGuy1 Wow! That’s wild! AS Darth says, it’s only a few bucks in the States for a jar.
I like the Polaner all fruit which has no sugr added. Also Smuckers’ simply fruit no sugar added.
Smucker’s Simply Fruit or Polaner.
^^ Yes, both are equally good.
My fave is Smucker’s Peach Preserves or sometimes their Strawberry Preserves. I happen to like Jiff on Wonder bread; so if that’s your preference, go for it. It’s going in your mouth so it doesn’t matter that some don’t care for your preference and that shouldn’t sway you on what it is that you prefer
@RedDeerGuy1
Yeah, someone’s way overcharging there. Converting to USD that equals out to $10 or so a jar. $3–5 is the typical price range for that stuff. I know things can be a bit more expensive in Canada sometimes, but not that much more. That’s just ridiculous.
I have.a jar of Bonne Maman Intense Blueberry Fruit Spread in my fridge, and it has been delicious. But putting it on wonder bread with Jif would be like adding a truffle to an egg McMuffin.
There is something special about the taste of a peanut butter and honey sandwich.
@all Update: I got two jams from Wal-Mart. Smuckers wild blueberry $4 and Bonne Maman wild blueberry $6.
@SEKA Tastes good, and filling.
