So many cute words on here from Fluther. But what does "I've won the Davey revenge award" mean?
I get a kick out of the cute words Fluther sends. “You look great today”. Had to laugh because today I look like crap. But what are these “awards” they send?

Answer a 6-week old question with a GA. I think @Strauss is right behind me !
When you see a community feed item that mentions an award—there are several right now—click on the award and you’ll see the whole list. They were instituted some years ago just for fun and probably to put more names out there on the marquee.
Also, when you click “Great Answer” or “Great Question” on someone else’s post, you set them up for awards.
The awards don’t mean anything, though. They’re just words. Entertainment.
By the way, the Meta section is intended for questions such as this, about the Fluther community and Fluther itself.
You can explore the awards here for explanations. Like @Tropical_Willie said, the Davey Jones’ Revenge award is for answering a question that is six or more weeks old and receiving a GA (great answer) from someone.
Note that the bottom set of awards (the ones with the white plaques) are “secret” awards, which means you have to figure them out on your own. No one is supposed to tell you how to get them.
@SavoirFaire Wow, I’ve got three of the secrets and had no idea. :D
^Because they are secretly awarded.
@chyna Must be for most ‘opposing views on fluther’ then…haha!
@KNOWITALL Oh hey, you have the Feeding Frenzy award! That’s not an easy one to get.
