Will Woodward’s latest book matter one way or another regarding Trump’s upcoming attempt at re-election?
After all, it is a book. Doesn’t anything aimed at people who bother to read these days amount more or less to preaching to the liberal choir?

I doubt if it will make a difference in his followers. Remember when he said he “could shoot someone and I wouldn’t lose voters.”
He is proving this over and over again. Look at his latest rally. Thousands jammed together with no thought of catching or spreading Covid.
Doubtful.
The only little nudge I think it might cause was people who flipped on Trump 5–6 months ago because of the pandemic will feel more assured they are doing the right thing voting for Biden. I have a few Republican friends who planned to vote for Biden because of the pandemic, and their parents it seemed to me might sit out voting for president altogether, maybe the book helps them feel better about those choices.
I think most Republicans will feel Trump did the right thing, definitely Trumpers will feel Trump did the right thing. A lot of them are fatalists feeling the virus is inevitable and that doing anything significant just hurts America.
There are according to recent polls about 8— 10 % of the population that is undecided about the election, Biden has 51% favorable rating to 40% rating for Trump for the ones that have their minds mead up..
There are about 35% “hard-core” Trump followers most are Fundamentalist Christians. Most of that group would run up and hand him another clip for the gun @chyna spoke about above !
The undecided are the ones that Woodward book may influence and the ex-GOP members that are getting tried of Trump ala “The Lincoln Project” have already decided to dump Trump !
I doubt it will make any significant difference.
Very few will change their minds. Mostly, it will harden the beliefs of both sides, mostly.
Man, if the words “Grabbing them by the pussy” coming right out of his mouth, or making fun of a handicapped reporter didn’t change their minds, why would a book?
