edit – fluther tip: if you are answering a thread and realize you have something else to add, and you can still edit your previous response, EDIT it, and add the new thing you have to say like I did here in this quip. This prevents the thread from having too many quips and makes skimming the thread easier.

-s-s-s—s-s-s-s-s—s-s-s——s-s-s—s(rattlesnake rattle)
Finding Nemo (and probably all Pixar films; Shawshank Redemption; The Hunt for Red October.
Dark Knight, Fight Club, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas to name a few
I’m with stratman on Raising Arizona. Also, Princess Bride, Home Fries (suprisingly dark and creepily funny), Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?, Silence of the Lambs (yikes!).
Dogma, Red Dawn, It’s a Wonderful Life.

I liked step brother too, best comedy ever.
I believe the question was which movie you could watch repeatedly, not can you repeatedly list movies you like

[mods says:] Enough guys. I think that we should let people who haven’t yet answered the Q answer it. As asked repeatedly, please take the off topic chatter somewhere else. You have been warned of this before.
I like all of your answers, the one I can think of is streets of fire
I can watch man on fire a lot.
bottle rocket, tropic thunder, the royal tennanbaums
Waiting for Guffman, I ALWAYS find something new in it. It’s funnier every time I watch it.
I can get tired of a movie quite easily, but I’d have to say that I could watch “the dark knight”, the 2 1980s batman movies, and anchorman many times. Can’t wait til anchorman 2!!
the royal tennenbaums, Amelie, American Beauty.
I just rewatched another of my favorites…Saving Private Ryan. Cried, as always.
I can watch The Wedding Singer over and over. Also all three of The Lord of the Rings movies. I love the old musicals, so I’ve watched Hello Dolly, Singin in the Rain, Meet Me In St Louis, Funny Girl, and Thoroughly Modern Milly, umpteen times as well. They’re great when you need a pick-me-up that is light and fluffy and doesn’t have all the deep and meaningful crap that you need to concentrate on to watch.
The Road to El Dorado, The Emperor’s New Groove, The Spongebob Squarepants Movie, The Wizard of Oz, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, (my friend and I have regular marathons of those two)... pretty much all my faves I could watch over and over. I have a hard time watching the Emperor’s New Groove these days though because I know the words off by heart and have to stuff something in my mouth to stop myself speaking along with it.
I do that with shrek a lot
Hey bri you wanna see something funny?
heheheh I will never hear that song the same way again.
Thanks for sharing!
if you noticed it did make sense with the scene.
Hey bri here’s another one.
Heheh I can’t believe that wall one. I would indeed be “wtf”
thanks Darknymph
We should ask a question about funny videos.
I can watch Hi Fidelity, This is Spinal Tap, Walk Hard, the Princess Bride, School of Rock over and over. ...and of course the prefect answer to this question:
Groundhog Day!
the notebook.
click.
tristan and isolde.
the holiday.
The holiday with Queen latifah?
ha no that’s the last holiday.
the holiday has jack black, cameron diaz, kate winslet, and jude law.
its a love story.
Oh Dark you remember we saw that together.
@ cyndyh I second all your answers
@ Darknymph NO WAY! I just saw that and it is now one of my faves.
no way? ah well we can see it together then.
Thank you, Bri. :^>
Edit: Now’s I’ll have to see the Queen Latifah movie. Cool.
Another couple of movies I can watch over and over for their sheer entertainment value are Independence Day, and Cold Comfort Farm.
@ Tantigirl – I totally agree on Independence Day in fact I just watched it, now I have to see Cold Comfort Farm
I love Cold Comfort Farm, it has Joanna Lumley, who played Patsy in Absolutely Fabulous, Kate Beckinsale, Stephen Fry, Ian McKellan, Rufus Sewell, and one of my favourite Brit actresses, Miriam Margolyes.
I’ve never seen Cold Comfort Farm, but I loved Ab Fab. The whole Saphy and her professor thing and then the light switch bit has me laughing to the point of tears every time I see it. Does Lumley play a lead role?
I lurve the brits. I will watch anything they put out!
It is an ensemble Cyndy, so there really aren’t any lead roles as such.
Bri, If you luv brit movies, tv etc, you’ll see a whole lot more actors who you recognize in this one. This movie (set in the 1930s), actually I think it was a TV movie, was adapted from the book by Stella Gibbons. I haven’t read it, but I’m going to buy it one of these days. I’m a bit leary of doing that, because I don’t want to be disappointed by the differences that there may be in the storyline.
@ Tatnigirl – WAY cool! Thanks!
The Matrix, West Side Story, Jerry Maguire, The Last Dragon, Forrest Gump, Galaxy Quest, Anything Star Trek related, Romeo and Juliet (the one with Leonardo Dicaprio), and The Shawkshank redemption.
Oh, yeah! Forrest Gump! I love that movie.
@ ineedtoknow594 – you got so many right I can’t tell you !!!
Ineedtoknow594, I especially liked Shawshank Redemption. I think I have watched that over and over….
@ Ineedtoknow594 and cydyh – I fought seeing that for 2.5 years because I couldn’t stand to watch a movie where a guy is wrongfully imprisoned. Then I watched it and LOVED it.
I saw it a bit late, too. I usually don’t go for prison movies at all, but I like Robbins and Freeman both a lot.
They are two guys I will see a movie for even if it got bad ratings.
@marissa – Oh yeah, I’m with you on The Rocky Horror Picture Show, I’d forgotten about that one. Another movie I’ll watch over and over for the sheer entertainment value.
@marissa & Tantigirl: I’ve discovered quickly that I’m definitely in the minority of people who absolutely cannot stomach RHPC. I know there’s a whole cult following to it, but it’s definitely on the “No” list for me, and I always get looks of absolute horror when I point that out. LOL
It doesn’t really surprise me that you don’t like it poofandmook, it is a bit of an aquired taste with that one. Not everyone likes the cheesy, kitsch kind of movie that RHPS is.
RHPC? Yeah. I can spell. LOL
Princess Bride. I have it (the audio) on cassette tape too.
probably: Killer Klowns from Outer Space. I also think I could watch Clueless a thousand times and never get tired of it.
