Does it make you concerned that Pence had red eyes during the debate?

With Trump having COVID, I feel like Pence needed to look as healthy as possible last night. I’m not the only one who noticed it but Pence looked like he had pink-eye and it is a really common symptom with COVID.

My understanding is that conjunctivitis can be a rare side-effect of C19. But it seems more likely that Pence and Biden are just experiencing subconjunctival bleeding, which doesn’t appear to be a side-effect of C19.
He may have been crying with ‘mother’ beforehand
There are just too many possible causes for the condition, most of them trivial.
I’m more concerned by the fact that all the left can talk about are red eyes and flies. Is there anything substantive from the debate that warrants discussion?
@Demosthenes: “I’m more concerned by the fact that all the left can talk about are red eyes and flies.”
I haven’t heard anything on the left about red eyes and flies. Nothing.
I didn’t watch the debate, but what I have read is that Harris went out there and talked crap about the GND and bragged about Biden’s support for fracking. She tweeted it.
A public declaration of this position is f*cking insane. The planet is literally burning, and the Dems are positioning themselves yet again as the anti-environment party running against the….other anti-environment party. But it’s also politically harmful – like most things Dems do – to support fracking. Check out fracking support in states like Pennsylvania and tell me if Dems are attempting to win votes or satisfy their donors.
@hmmmmmm Just commenting on what I’ve observed all over the internet since the debate. I agree, though, I would like a more strongly pro-environment candidate and I would like to see fracking banned.
“Does it make you concerned that Pense had red eyes during the debate?”
In itself? Not really. There could be a gajillion causes for that, most of them trivial.
@hmmmmmm Fracking is something unfortunately favored by both parties for now. That really has to do more with uninformed voters.
States that have it, do so because it provides jobs and income. They have to be given and alternative that would equal or surpass what they are making out of it. Until that happens no politician is going to ban fracking. You can see for yourself what happens when politicians go against the will of a few nuts who are mad because they can’t go to the gym. They get together and plan to blow bridges and kidnap the governor and hold and illegal trial so they can kill her. Or plan to shoot up her vacation home to kill her and potentially possibly kill her family along with her. The nation has become so radicalized that it is nearly impossible to take little progressive steps. Never mind big progressive steps. I can guarantee that if Biden said he would ban fracking that he would lose all the blue states that have fracking. Especially, Pennsylvania who is starving for employment. Even if Trump said he would ban fracking, it would be the final nail in his coffin.
In the US, there are really three things that matter to voters. Money, and an entitled sense of superiority and power. All political land mines. Never talk about anything you plan to take away without having replaced it with something better already. Jobs and income and taxes. And the last two are kind of tied together. Wanting to feel entitled and having the power to rule over others. Either with religion or political power.
