Has Biden's role with Burisma ever been investigated?

Mainstream media (CNN, MSNBC, NY Times, Washington Post, LA Times, Chicago Tribune, etc. etc.) always preface any claims about Biden’s role with “thoroughly debunked”.
I am just raising a question about who debunked it and when.

The Republicans did their best to find something, but came up empty

Hunter Biden’s e-mails are currently under investigation by the Senate Homeland Security Committee.
Do you mean that an 87 page report by Senate Homeland Security and Finance Committees is not official?
If Hunter Biden’s e-mails are valid then Joe Biden has been lying to the world about it constantly for a long time. The coverup is worse than the crime.
Do you have a link to this story?
It’s my understanding that it was investigated several times, some of them by people desperately trying to find some whiff of misconduct but failing. I’ve lost track of who did what, but I think some Senate committee, surely headed by the GOP, did an investigation and found nothing incriminating.
@crazyguy Has Trump ever testified under oath ? ?
Thank you for answering perfectly for me, @Tropical Willie
@AlaskaTundrea His lawyers won’t let him, because he’d have three different stories before a half hour was up and perjure himself ! !
@AlaskaTundrea Trump has not testified under oath. He has submitted written answers under oath. In any case, I think the current discussion is about Biden, since there is so much new in that investigation.
While I doubt the story as presented, I think what happened was that somebody (possibly the Russians) hasted Hunter’s computer and found the salacious content. They then leaked it to the NY Post. If the material can be authenticated, I am not certain that a chain of custody is required, but I am not a lawyer.
