Should CNN cover the story about Hunter's laptop?

Yesterday the NY Post (which may be on your banned reading list) had a story about Hunter Biden’s laptop. See

Apparently CNN did not cover it at all.
My question is: whether you believe the allegations or not, can CNN decide that you should not even know about them?
