What tv-show are you hate-watching right now? Or, what was the last one you hate-watched?
And why do you do it?
Do you watch it out of a sense of obligation to the franchise?
Do you watch it to see how much the show can disappoint you?

“The Trouble with Maggie Cole” – an English show on PBS. The protagonist is an incredibly stupid woman and the actress mugs annoyingly. But there’s only 6 episodes and the village is gorgeous background.
If I would be hate watching something, I wouldn’t put it on at all.
That is what the channel changer is for,
I don’t understand the concept of “hate-watching”; I’ve never done it as far as I can remember.
Watching Trump in N Carolina on Fox News. He’s exhausted and has 4 more rallies today.
The Nature of Things. By David Sasuki. 30 years ago when they were obsesed with birds. Now he has more of a variety of human interest science shows. I watched because at the time the tv guide did not list the topic, and I hoped for a human biology topic. Eventually there was.
I’m with @Demosthenes. Is it about hating a show and watching it anyway, or watching a good show with a character you “love to hate,” as they say?
Either way, I guess it’s something I don’t spend my time on.
