1. What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong It always reminds me of my mom.
2. Puff the Magic Dragon by Peter Paul and Mary. It reminds me of my childhood.
3. Take it Easy by the Eagles. Reminds me of my high school party days.
4. Almost Heaven West Virginia. Because, well I live here!
5. Drove My Chevy to the Levy by Don McLean. Just because I know all the words and sing them loud while driving.

Oh Bla Di Oh Bla Da – Beatles
^^ Yes, which makes me remember one of my very tops. I consider it my anthem:
“Brown Eyed Girl” – Van Morrison.
I honestly don’t believe I could settle on just five. Matter of fact, all of the posts above prove my point, great songs all.
@janbb And now, Brown Eyed Girl is playing over and over in my head and wont stop. Gee, thanks.
1) Some Where Over The Rainbow…no matter who is singing it. A dear friend had just passed away & my hubs held me close for the very first time to comfort me & that was the song playing in the background. I can still feel that hug!!!
2) Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison because hubby used to sing that one to me daily
3) Like A Hurricane by Neil Young because it was hubby’s favorite
4) Harvest Moon by Neil Young…another of Hubby’s faves
5) Maggie May by Rod Stewart because it takes me back to happier, carefree days
@janbb will you please STOP it…I can’t take a 3rd song rolling around inside my head that I can’t stop. I really do need to get some sleep tonight!!! LoL
Re: unwanted earworms: how about My Dingaling by Charles Berry? ;-p
The five songs that make me smile are, ” A Kind of Magic, Bohemian Rhapsody, One Vision, Hammer to Fall, and Princes of the Universe” written by Queen, because I get very excited when I hear their music.
“Sing, Sing, Sing” by Benny Goodman
“Kids in America” by Kim Wylde
“Lullaby of Broadway” from the 42nd St Cast Recording
“The Caterpillar” by The Cure
“Sister Golden Hair” by America
California Girls, Beach Boys
You lot are something else. Give me a beer mug and some flashing lights, and I’d be in one of those 70s era discos.
