Hell yes! Any fad that arrives here is destined for you. Just because you have the better spread on health insurance and a more enlightened head of government, does not mean you will be spared the ravages of contagion.

I wouldn’t be. The article didn’t say it’s more deadly than the typical seasonal flu, and right now Canada is being careful using masks and keeping surfaces clean because of covid.

If more cases are spread and they see I high severe illness or death rate the citizens will be told.

Flu cases were very small in Asia because of covid precautions, that should be the case in Canada.
