Other than the professional skills you have that enable you to do your job, if you had to use your amateur skills to barter or just to get by, what tasks or jobs could you offer?

Cooking and discussing books and watercolor painting. Et je parle francais un peu.
I could:
do yard work;
be a grounds keeper;
be a handy man;
do pond and pond fish maintenence;
be an old pool boy.
At times I have:
Sold things for people on eBay for a cut of the profits
Worked in forests doing trail maintenance, cutting brush, killing invasive plants
Built a 60 foot suspension bridge with cables anchored in stone
Photographed weddings and bar/bat mitzvahs
Done Polaroid portraits/group shots at outdoor cafes/bars
House painting
Simple carpentry
Simple plumbing
Boiler maintenance for a water-heated building
Simple heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs
Installed gas appliances
Book-keeping assistance for personal, small business, & political campaign clients
Held open houses to sell condos
Lawn and garden work
House cleaning
I can frame pictures, too. I just hand cut a mat for a photo for my brother.
Amateur skills? I guess I could mow lawns and do other yard work. Otherwise I could do basic mechanical auto repair.
Have to add one – or maybe it counts as two: writing and editing.
I can do bicycle adjustments and repairs.
@LuckyGuy Yeah, we know about your fiddling. (nudge, nudge, wink wink)
I want @LuckyGuy to be our pool boy.
Now just got to get an actual pool…
