What odd things are you thankful for?

Me? I’m thankful this pandemic didn’t happen last year, because that would have delayed the release of “Avengers: Endgame”. Imagine having to wait a year for that?

I am thankful that covid helps me blend in, and that my being a shut in is seemed as normal now. Also I am thankful for my halucinations/time travel give me infinite do overs. So that I can think before I speak/write.
I am thankful for the election of Donald Drumpf, because it reinforced my anti-conialism and gave me 4 years of hearty laughing and Schadenfreude.
I am thankful that, at almost 50, I still have all my own hair and have better than 20/20 vision.
I’m not a vain person, but those make me happy.
That I haven’t gotten Covid yet.
That my cat’s can food is now juicier and comes out easier.
That my sister’s a meth head who gets arrested for petty theft. Makes me feel better about my own life.
I’m thankful for so many things. That I don’t have corona virus. Thankful for life and the ability too do nearly everything for myself. I live in a senior complex of apartments and there are currently some here who have the virus. Been doing the mask and distancing long enough that is feels easier now. I’m thankful for friends. Including all y’all.
I’m thankful I never got married and have no children.

I’m actually thankful for Covid. If it hadn’t been for it, my school wouldn’t extend the deadline for my thesis and I would still be working on it right now instead of turning it in on time.
That my mammogram was negative.
I’m thankful for my home, my family, my job, my health.
I’m thankful for living in a time and place where we have a lot of things that we take for granted, but not so long ago, what we have now would have been unheard of.
