In your opinion when do you think Trump will give up on his voter fraud crusade?

Asked by SQUEEKY2 (23474points) December 6th, 2020

After Biden is sworn in?
Never?
After his base realize he is not a stable genius?

Never. I think he’ll have less of an audience as life goes in in the winter of 2021, but he will not stop, especially if he has his own network (taking the place of Fox or Bloomberg News). I look forward to one day when he’s not an every day word.

Shortly after he lands in Ukraine with a suitcase fill of cash (using diplomatic label on suitcase) !

I’m just hoping trump’s niece is wrong. She said something along the lines of “taking all of us with him.” Not sure what that means. Bit troubling. lol

Btw, he is popular not because he is a stable genius but because he is a genius at being an unstable, cruel and dangerous clown.

It ain’t gonna happen. Very old leopard—indelible spots. He lies to himself as readily as he does to the rest of the world.

Probably only in the afterlife.

Well, he’ll probably give up on the “crusade” as soon as fools stop sending him money every time he sends out an email about it, or he shifts to some other line of BS to spout.

But I don’t think he’ll ever stop saying the “I was robbed” line when/if asked about it, unless he ever has nothing to lose by admitting he was just making up nonsense and conning people.

So never then?^^

“Never” would be my guess. And the cry won’t end with him.

But I would expect his nearest and dearest to start repudiating him before he goes cold. One thing they all know is where their bread is buttered.

When his daddy finally tells him he loves him.

When he’s dead, not before.

Don’t hold your breath, that’s all I can say.

“Stable Genius” ? I missed that the first time..
I mean to the MAGA crowd, that would be defined as Einstein shovelling hay in a barn.

I’m assuming that he’s NOT through embarrassing us & he will give us the pleasure of watching him being escorted from the Oval Office at noon on January 20, 2021!!!

Nomore_lockout's avatar

In handcuffs and an orange jump suit, hopefully. At least he’ll be color coordinated.

LadyMarissa's avatar

I think that the same Secret Service guys who have been protecting his ass for the last 4 years will have the honor of guiding him out the front door. I doubt that there will be handcuffs unless he goes ghetto on his way out. After seeing him playing tennis in his see-through shorts, I really don’t want to see that body stuffed into an orange jump suit!!! I would have gouged my eyes out after the tennis outfit; but, you can’t unsee that look NO matter how hard you try!!!

Nomore_lockout's avatar

LMAO That’s harsh Marissa lol, also true. But he’s supposed to be a real ladies man ain’t he?

Nomore_lockout's avatar

Yo Trump! You’re fired! Yeah I always wanted to say that ; )

stanleybmanly's avatar

The fool has by now demolished any hope of personal credibility or self respect as court after court is forced to invent creative new ways to call him a jackass and the entire legal profession is now dedicated to the assurance of his being stamped as such for the remainder of history. The stench from Trump is now so severe, that all who seek to represent him legally now reek with the intensity of the jackass himself. Who is ever going to give Giuliani, Barr or Sidney Powell a job post Trump? Just being associated with the fool is sufficient to mark those so unfortunate as hopeless dupes, too stupid to be permitted to ever live in peace again. It’s like having a maga hat surgically attached to your head with no way to remove it.

When the crusade stops being profitable, if ever.

@Nomore_lockout He’s a ladies man in his own mind!!! Back around ‘78, I fantasized about becoming his Mrs. I even almost moved to NYC in hopes of running into him & making the art of the deal!!! Then some of my friends who lived there began to tell me what a mistake I’d be making. I started doing research on him to prove them wrong. That’s when I discovered what a horrible person he really was & I decided that I deserved better even IF he had NO money!!!

In today’s news they are saying that he’ll be going to Mar-a-Lago for Christmas & that he will just refuse to come back. He won’t be at Biden’s inauguration, but will choose that precise moment to announce his run for president in 2024 in order to ruin Biden’s swearing in. Like you I wanted to see him escorted out of the WH so I could scream “you’re fired” at the bastard as he slithered away!!! Who knows, maybe this aide is mistaken & we’ll still get our chance!!!

stanleybmanly's avatar

And worst of all—“There’s no fool like an old fool”.

Nomore_lockout's avatar

Hopefully he wont be fool enough to have to be forcibly removed from the WH by the military. But I suppose that remains to be seen.

LadyMarissa's avatar

My understanding is that Biden’s swearing-in starts at 12 noon & according to our laws, at 11:59:59, 45 becomes a regular citizen & will be considered to be a trespasser in the White House & will be treated as such, asked to leave & escorted out IF he chooses to refuse!!! I’m hoping that he’ll put on his big boy pants that morning; but, I’m also half expecting him to put on his diaper & throw a tantrum just to see IF he can still control his base!!! Since Melania NEVER wanted to live there, I’m praying that she’ll convince him to go with her & Barron in a controlled exit!!!

I believe that right in line with the gigantic inventory of embarrassing defects, cowardice and a marked and open contempt for courage or bravery assures us that his abandonment by those whose adoration he requires will put a rather abrupt end to any actual stand. Of course there will be plenty of puffing and bluster, but he will slink quickly away, if only to avoid the deluge of vengeful summons awaiting only his dethronement.
