Hey everyone! I WON! (Can you guess what I just WON from Trump?)

Asked by Zaku (30556points) December 8th, 2020

Today I won something from Trump!

I have an email of CONGRATULATIONS for having been selected by President Trump to be the one weekly winner, and I have two hours to respond.

Can you guess what I won?

Can you guess what the email says Trump knew about me, that qualified me to win this?

He “knew” that you were one of his most loyal supporters, and that you have “won” the singular honor to donate all your money to his campaign?

Coach? As if Trump would spring for anything more extravagant than stowage.

@SEKA is correct—sounds like a phishing scam.

Trump and his campaign would not be involved in gimmicks at this time.

Trump Is Using Election Fraud Conspiracy Theories To Raise Money For A Personal Slush Fund

“Donald Trump is raising money more quickly as an election loser than he did as a candidate during the presidential campaign.

On Tuesday night, Rachel Maddow pointed out that since the election, Trump has raised $170 million – most of which is going into a slush fund that the outgoing president can use to fund any personal expenses he has.

“He can use it to pay for everything up to and including his personal expenses like food and travel and rent and haircuts and make-up and very wide pants and very long ties,” the MSNBC host said. “He can even just take the money for himself as income.”

”grrrr”

Agreed, but who’s the bigger fool? The fool, or the the fools that follow the fool?

LadyMarissa's avatar

During one of his rallies, the man called his base fools & still they protect him from those who can see clearly now…kinda points to the bigger fool to me & for once it’s NOT 45!!!

Pardon the delay… I had an unexpectedly long day away from the computer today.

@Yellowdog “Trump and his campaign would not be involved in gimmicks at this time.”
“Trump’s campaign is not asking for money from random people, if that’s what you are implying. He has plenty of support.”

(Looks genuine to me, like the previous 1200+ official Trump/GOP emails I have received in 2020 alone.)

You’re our weekly winner.

Zaku,

CONGRATULATIONS! You’ve won the Weekly Trump Patriot 1000% IMPACT OFFER!

Every week President Trump selects one of his BEST supporters to receive an exclusive 1000% IMPACT OFFER, and this week, it’s YOU.

This offer is only available to you for the NEXT 2 HOURS, Zaku. After that, your offer will be given to the next Patriot in line.

Please contribute ANY AMOUNT in the NEXT 2 HOURS and you can increase your impact by 1000%.

. . .

President Trump knows that you’ve been a dedicated supporter, which is why he selected YOU for this opportunity.

He wants to know the moment you make your contribution, so don’t wait.

So… @ragingloli guessed correctly, with the first answer, answering both questions correctly.

(As I’ve mentioned before, no, I’ve never supported Trump in any way. I don’t know how they even have my email address, except via online petitions I’ve signed protesting the administration’s actions.)

So, actually @Yellowdog, Trump’s campaign is doing exactly what you kept saying it wouldn’t and wasn’t doing. In my case, several times per day, in fact.

And good guess @Tropical_Willie . While an expensive trip to meet Trump wasn’t on offer this time, I have been offered that several times earlier in the year, and in previous years. Also a few “chances” to win a trip to go to a rally, if I donated.

Oh and @Nomore_lockout was close too in that I have also been offered MAGA hats and other MAGA stuff.

@Yellowdog Trump’s campaign is not asking for money from random people, if that’s what you are implying. He has plenty of support.

Wrong again. Where he may have “some” support as shown by the 71–72 million that voted for him. He doesn’t have plenty or he would have been reelected. Thank God that there are 80 million people who saw through his scam
