How many calories and resources, like vitamins and minerals, are used up to heal a wound?

Starting with something simple; like a paper cut on one’s index finger?

Might not be what you’re looking for but protease is an enzyme. Taken with food it helps to digest meat protein. Taken on an empty stomach, it helps in healing by breaking down waste material in the body (such as dead blood cells from a cut or bruise). It’s a wonderful immune support.

Depends on the wound. The more severe the more resources it takes.
I was in the hospital in late 2012 with severe pnemonia. They had to operate. I was there gor 2 weeks. In spite of 3 solid meals a day (more than what I ate normally) I lost 15 pounds.
