One bee in its life time of 6 weeks makes 1/16 teaspoon of honey. So it would take about 96 bees 6 weeks to make one fluid ounce of honey. You can now figure out how many bees and how long you would need to fill up a any size jar. As for how many flowers it would take, it would depend on the type of plant and how much pollen it produces. Bees will visit hundreds of plants in their lifetime.
