What good things are you looking forward to in 2021?
Everyone will probably say for this pandemic to be over, so I am saying it which means let’s say something else.
This can be a wishlist too, of what your goals are (Not really talking about New Years resolutions but you can do that if you want).
My answers:
I will graduate with my Associates in Criminal Justice
I will hopefully get a job as a Victim Advocate somewhere (I got a tiny bit more planning to do)
I want to get to a point where I can think about stopping my meds. May take more than a year though and thats ok.
I am excited for summer and getting on my bike again.

Exploring Skip the Dishes meals in my home town.
@SergeantQueen Skip the Dishes is a food delivery service like Uber eats or doordash. I will eat out lots of good foods next year.
I also will watch Joe Bidens State of the Union address in January or February. I will also watch the obituary part of the academy awards show in January or February.
Oh that sounds cool! And nice, I probably won’t watch either but it is good to watch the speech!
Going to California to see my family.
A new President, hopefully a good President, and a few vacations.
Vacation, our trip this was cancelled the day before we were getting on a plane and two days before the shutdown.
Canoe paddling and racing with my club.
Sailing Hobie Cat sailboats.
I’m looking forward to being able to spend time with my friends. With or without a mask.
Some new covid strains, that are unaffected by the current vaccines.
Travelling to England to see Caravan on tour
Finish digitalizing my comic.
I would like to travel out to North Carolina to see my brother. I have done so at least once a year since he moved there but this year was an exception. I’m also looking to one of my best friends getting married next summer (plans subject to change of course). I’m also looking forward to teaching classes in person again and maybe teaching a new course.
If all goes very well, my daughter will start college without a hitch, my wife will get a new job, and we’ll all stay healthy.
Alternative would be that I die and my family collects a large life insurance policy and live on nicely.
@gondwanalon No. I’ve known ze virtually for nearly 15 years. It’s how ze rolls.
@Caravanfan I know she is joking but it is a sadistic thing to say so my comment still stands.
*January sixth.
*I expect to be published before 2021 ends.
*I’m also considering contacting a local community theater about a play I’m writing. It is based on rare medical conditions, and how they affect patient and family, but there is a fictional aspect which reveals an exciting end. I hope to convince them to work with me to produce the play, including some innovative special effects which would work well for stage or film, film it, and post it online. I have two reasons for that. One is to bring about higher public awareness about rare medical conditions, the other is hopes that it can get names in the credits acknowledgement, and possibly help someone who has acting or production goals.
*Now that I have a scooter, I hope to get out a lot more, when weather allows. I might even take a class or two offered locally for older adults.
**Side note; I had expected 2020 to be a year when people could have a sharper (2020) vision of the world around them. I suppose that did happen, but clear visibility can be brutal. Still, I suppose necessary for change.
