If a question you need to be answered on Fluther gets edited, how much time passes before it becomes visible again?

The question reappears as soon as it is approved by a moderator. If you ask a duplicate question in the meantime in order to circumvent the moderation process, the duplicate will be removed (and will not be restored, even if you choose to edit the duplicate instead of the original). You have to edit the original question. If you abandon the original question and send back the duplicate, then neither will appear on the site.

@SavoirFaire: What’re you talking about? Though the questions (the original and the duplicate) were about the same book, the quotes were distinctly different.

Keep in mind that the moderators do not work 24 hours a day – they seem to have lives too. So a change that I make may not get approved by them for half a day or longer.

@luigirovatti I was explaining the process. It may not match your case exactly. In any case, I’ll look into it for you.

@elbanditoroso IMO, if it’s on a Friday or weekend, it may take about 48 hours. Seems it has taken that long in instances involving me, not that I had any problem with it…
