Does anyone else now have the song "Downtown" by Petula Clark, playing like an earworm in your head?

This morning, I noticed that I was humming it to myself. It took me a while to realize why.
Are you unconsciously singing it, too?

No. I have “Uptown Girl” by Billy Joel.
I was humming it last night. I liked the song, long before the bomber used it.
I wasn’t until you mentioned it. Thanks a lot! :-)
Now I have both songs on mash-up! It goes something like this:
Listen to the rhythm of the gentle Bossa Nova. You’ll be dancing with it too before the night us over (with an) Uptown Girl!
NOT until you put it there!!!
@Strauss I do wish that you had kept that one to yourself. I bet that it’s sitting in my queue for when Downtown finally evacuates.
Oh thanks, @Strauss!! Now I’ve got “Listen to the rhythm of the falling rain…” stuck in my head! Funny how songs can segue into one another.
…telling me just what a fool I’ve been!
It wasn’t until hours later that I realized why I was humming it!
Let’s hope that crazy guy gave Petula Clark’s bank account a boost.
No, but now I have Cardinal Richelieu’s impersonation of Petula Clark’s “Don’t Sleep in the Subway” in my head.
I do now, Thanks, mighty white of ya.
