What parts of your life have you forgotten?

Asked by RedDeerGuy1 (24945points) December 28th, 2020

I just realized that I forgot all the episodes of Airwolf. I played the intro and it was a pleasure to hear. I loved that television series. I also forgotten the A-team and night rider.

I have also forgotten all of grade 3.

What have you forgotten?

How would I know what I have forgotten?

I have zero memory of seventh and eighth grade (middle school).

I don’t know why because I have pretty clear memories from most of my life.

@elbanditoroso What you know what you don’t know. Not what you don’t know what you don’t know.

I will never get back September, October and most of November of 2012.

Let me see…I think there was something going on in my life in the 1970’s. But as someone famously said, if you can remember it, you weren’t really there…

Loll!I remembered some of the 70s!

I recently realized that I don’t remember most of the Christmas’s from my earlier years.

A brief trip across the border to Mexico which I made, or may not have made, in 1971 when I was 15 and hitch hiking with 2 guys I’d met on the road. We were doing (the original) Orange Sunshine and I’d never done anything that hardcore. I have little memory of what I did for I’m guessing about 20 hours. We’d gotten a ride and I remember them telling me that when ‘they’ asked, to say I was a U.S. citizen. I don’t remember if we went to Mexico or not. It’s scary to think of the crazy things we do when we’re young. I’m lucky to be alive.

I can’t remember. Probably the first three years of life.

I have forgotten somethings.

I dated a lady that had no memory of anything before her mother divorced her father when she was 9 years old.

@RedDeerGuy1 That was pretty good, maybe we should team up as a comedy duo. Make a few goofy films. Red Deer and No More Meet Frankenstein, Shmucks in Toyland, Wayyy out West. LOL

@Tropical_Willie…poor girl. Probably for the best. Why some psychologist insist that the victims remember is beyond me.

I have NO memory before I was 7 except for a few details my Mother used to speak of frequently…even then, I don’t know IF I remember or IF I simply believe what Mom told me!!!

There was 1 night back in the late 70’s or early 80’s where I went to a bar, had 1 drink, & I have NO clue how I got home except that my car was in my driveway & I awoke alone in my own bed the next morning. That was THE LAST TIME I had a drink as it scared the shit out of me!!!

Nomore_lockout's avatar

@LadyMarissa. Daaaaamn! That be spooky!

LadyMarissa's avatar

@Nomore_lockout It never really bothered me that I couldn’t remember anything before 7. I just assumed that I was young & things just didn’t stick with me because my life wasn’t all that exciting!!!

Now the not remembering getting home from te bar really messed with my head for a long time. I’m assuming that some horny young stud mickeyed my drink in hopes of getting lucky; & once my brain realized that something was wrong, it told me to get my ass home & I did. I’m just thankful that I didn’t kill anyone while driving & that I didn’t get a DUI…or worse!!!

@LadyMarissa “Or worse”... yeah that’s what crossed my mind. Women should be more careful and alert to their surroundings. You could have come to a bad end that night. Cowabanga!
