Will fraud accusations follow the results in Georgia?

Asked by Demosthenes (15328points) January 5th, 2021

Both run-offs appear to be very close. A close election in America now means fraud accusations, challenges to the legitimacy of the results, and refusals to concede. Given what has been happening with the presidential election, do you see the same thing happening in Georgia, especially given the stakes of the election?

Tomorrow is going to epic.

45 lost one of his lawyers due to her participation in Saturday’s infamous phone call. According to Fox, both races are at 50/50 with BOTH dems holding the lead by a very narrow margin. I don’t see 45 fighting for either of these seats like he’s been fighting for his own. Sad part is that he doesn’t want the job, but he just can’t stand to lose. I’ll be sooo fucking glad when we get past tomorrow!!!

Republicans will cry foul, because to admit they lost here would be admitting they lost in November.

If the Rep/cons lose I have no doubt .

They will, but it raises the question of why the Democrats could not fix the original election.

It’s never going to end. The still spew the stupid Clinton and Obama derp that Fox taught them ten and 20+ years ago.

Probably, but they will be shot down, just like the Trump lies.

Fraud accusations are going to be de rigueur every time Republicans lose a race, from now on.

She may still be working for Trump. She lost her day job. Foley & Lardner (a huge law firm) issued a statement saying they had no involvement in the election. Then she “resigned”.

She is a notorious gay-hater whose first husband left her – for another man. Her second husband was a bank fraudster and she says his conviction made her a conservative because government was too big.

The Trumpanzees are now swarming into the US Capitol. They broke down the police barriers.

Fraud acusations would be tame. We now have armed insurrection.

So much for democracy then?^^

@SQUEEKY2 No – it will stand. Eventually.

WHY was the presidential election a fraud when NONE of the House or Senate a fraud??? They ALL came in at the same time!!!
