Can I cook a whole carrot in a electric frying pan and slice after cooked?

Asked by RedDeerGuy1 (24892points) January 10th, 2021

Or should I pre-slice then cook? I would like to try both methods today and will update how It turned out.

If you do know then you can save me the trouble.

I would cut it up first to maximize the amount of happy grease per bite. chopped carrot—more surface area. RDG you deserve a like minded hedonist. You shouldn’t have to make this journey alone, It’s disappointing, the injustices which compromise living.

I cook mine in the microwave with no grease, and slice them after, when they are soft. They can then be served with salad dressing(warmed up if you want).

But the goal is to deliver disgusting vegetables that taste like CHICKEN.

@stanleybmanly My way is a healthier alternative.

Yes, that is the hideous truth. But, the carrot, covered in batter and deep fried is the RDG’s approach to eating his vegetables. I’m not saying it’s best. I’m saying I certainly understand.

Whole cooked carrots where perfect and delicious. Will either microwave before hand or cook whole in chicken grease.

I wasted less buy cooking the whole carrot instead of tossing the end pieces.

It wouldn’t surprise me if you reported back that it couldn’t be done.

Microwaved baby carrots and honey might be worth considering.

Anyone in this society harboring notions that raw vegetables stand a chance in any popularity contest including ANYTHING greasily deep fried is in need of psychiatric evaluation.
