What is the general situation in the world for the crime of psychological abuse?

Asked by luigirovatti (2950points) February 6th, 2021

You know, those whose victim doesn’t have scars, or bruises. I’d like to know how many countries in total have this crime recognized, for example. I am also counting the countries where there aren’t many shelters, or organizations for the abused victims.

It sounds like a lot of research would have to be done to answer this.

Psychological abuse isn’t really a crime as far as I know. You can’t really prove it is happening. Easier to prove sexual abuse or physical abuse.

But lots of shelters available in the U.S for abuse of any kind, not sure about other countries.
