What are the pros and cons of having a Democratic and capitalistic country?

The first thing Americans must understand is that the term capitalist democracy is in fact equivalent to dry water. Americans must purge themselves of the idea that it is merely the right to vote or the Constitution which assures them democracy. The pros and cons are easily assigned. The pros all go to those who profit from the ruse, and the cons befall those who believe it and therefore suffer the consequences. Capitalism is fundamentally about defeating to every extent possible ANYTHING associated with democracy which interferes with the maximization of profit or concentration of wealth. And the only thing perpetuating the illusion is the great success (as this question indicates) of the capitalists in convincing their victims of the compatibility of democracy and capitalism. If you would rather not believe it, you need merely look at the results.
