Have you ever had a child of yours, parrot something you told them when they were growing up?
I mean you took a corrective action, and now your children use that with their own kids?

I got onto my grand sons today, for whispering in front of their friend. And my wife quickly reminded me of an episode last year, when she and I, and our daughter and grand son and his wife were on a short road trip. The grand son and his wife were whispering back and forth and my daughter told them curtly, to stop. I then told HER to stop, and and to leave the youngsters alone. Then she tells me that “No daddy you always told us whispering is rude. If they have something to say, they can say it for us all to hear”. I was kind of angry with her at the time, but she was correct. Anyone ever had a similar experience?
I did last month, but the things my daughter said I had told her all her life were all switched up. She put her own spin on it, and then some, and blamed me for it.
